At Dayton Rogers Manufacturing, we have always believed that our greatest strength lies in our people. Today, we are incredibly proud to share that our very own CEO, Stephanie Lowry, has been named one of the honorees in the 10th Annual Women of Excellence in Metal Forming & Fabricating.
This prestigious recognition, presented by MetalForming magazine and the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), celebrates 53 of the industry’s most impactful leaders across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. These women aren’t just managing companies; they are redefining what is possible in modern manufacturing.
Stephanie’s journey is a testament to the power of dedication, curiosity, and “rolling up your sleeves.” Over her 15-year tenure at Dayton Rogers, she has traversed nearly every department in the company.
• The Early Years: Starting as a corporate receptionist, Stephanie didn’t just answer phones—she learned the heartbeat of the business.
• The Growth Phase: She moved through critical roles in legal, customer service, human resources, and production. This “ground-up” perspective allowed her to understand the intricacies of metal forming from the shop floor to the executive suite.
• The Leadership Transition: In 2025, Stephanie was named CEO, bringing a vision that combines technical strength with a genuine commitment to people.

"One of Stephanie's greatest strengths is helping her team find solutions by listening and cutting through the noise of challenges."
Jackie Ellen, Customer Service Director, Dayton Rogers
Stephanie’s influence extends far beyond our facility walls in Newberry, SC. As a founding member of the PMA’s Southeast District and a frequent speaker to students and educators, she is passionate about bridging the talent gap in U.S. manufacturing.
She recently represented Dayton Rogers on major stages, including the MFG Day-Texas Workforce panel and the PMA Metal Fabrication Strategy Summit. For Stephanie, manufacturing isn’t just about “making parts”—it’s about problem-solving and innovation.
Historically, women have been the unsung heroes of manufacturing—from the innovators like Bessie Hamill in WWII to the leaders of today. While women now make up roughly 37% of the global manufacturing workforce, there is still work to be done.
Awards like the Women of Excellence highlight that diversity in leadership leads to diversity in thought. Under Stephanie’s guidance, Dayton Rogers is empowering its management team to think innovatively in an evolving global market.
When asked what she would say to women considering a career in this industry,
Stephanie’s message is clear:
“Manufacturing needs your problem-solving brilliance. It offers high-tech, well-paying careers where you have a tangible impact… Go build something great.”
We invite you to join us in congratulating Stephanie Lowry on this well-deserved honor. We are excited to see where her vision takes Dayton Rogers next.
