OUR STORY

Since 1929.

Dayton Rogers has been turning metal into precision parts American industries have depended on for nearly a century. We are still privately held, still family-led, and still doing it the way that earned the company its reputation: engineer the part for manufacturing, run production in one quality system, and stand behind it.

We wrote the book on metal forming. Literally.

Generations of our engineers compiled what they learned into the Metalforming Design Handbook, the volume the industry knows as the Red Book. Design guidelines, formulas, and hard-won rules, in one reference engineers across the industry still keep on the desk.

That handbook is the clearest proof of how we think about your part: design authority first. The same engineering team that wrote the reference is the team that reviews your drawing for manufacturing, so cost and lead time get solved before a die is ever cut.

Precision metal stamping, from Minneapolis.

THE RED BOOK

We author the Metalforming Design Handbook.

Our engineers’ design rules become an industry reference, the Red Book.

FOUR PLANTS

Dayton Rogers grows to four U.S. facilities.

Minneapolis, MN; Columbus / Obetz, OH; Arlington, TX; and Newberry, SC, placed to keep lead times short.

2025

Stephanie Lowry is named Chief Executive Officer.

The same year she’s recognized as a 2025 Woman of Excellence in Metal Forming & Fabricating by the Precision Metalforming Association.

IN MOTION

Sixty seconds
on the floor.

Four U.S. plants, one quality system, filmed where the work happens: progressive and deep-draw stamping, laser and brake-press fabrication, robotic welding, powder coating, and assembly.

LEADERSHIP

A receptionist who became CEO.

Stephanie Lowry, Chief Executive Officer of Dayton Rogers
Stephanie Lowry joined Dayton Rogers as a receptionist. In 2025, she was named its Chief Executive Officer.

It’s the kind of story a family-led, woman-led manufacturer that’s been at this since 1929 can tell, because it’s true, not because it polls well. Ron Lowry, Owner and Chairman, continues to guide the company alongside her. Together they lead a business that still answers to a family, not a fund.

In 2025, Stephanie was named a Woman of Excellence in Metal Forming & Fabricating by the Precision Metalforming Association, where she is a past chair of the Southeast District. In 2026, she was honored at the SCBIZ Leaders in Business & Finance Awards.

DFM by design

We optimize for manufacturing before tooling, and we help you move between fabrication and stamping as volume and cost change.

PERSONAL

Real service

Customers stay because we’re prompt, responsive, and accountable, not because they’re locked in.
